The hadrosaur in the game is labeled as Anatosaurus annectens, but that is indeed a synonym of Edmontosaurus annectens. In the game they can utilize biting and stomping to deal damage but their main source of defense is their muscular tail which can deal considerable damage. A Tyrannosaurus rex cannot kill one in one bite, but it can sure kill one, but the hadrosaur will display itself as a significant foe, being able to best a Tyrannosaurus in battle, specially if joined by its herdmates.

Tyrannosaurus wouldn't have a bite force that strong, it typically reached between 7,000 and 12,000 lbf. That being said, even with the most powerful bite force of any terrestrial animal, it doesn't mean it was successful in all of its hunts. We have bite marks inflicted by Tyrannosaurus in hadrosaur bones that have healed, implying the herbivore escaped and survived a predatory attack.

The tails of hadrosaurs might have stayed stiff during most of their time, but that doesn't mean they would be incapable of flexion and motion. They would probably still be able to wave it around and hit targets. Again it won't be the most destructive of attacks, but it can still deal some damage.
