Cyclurus was an extinct species of amiid, that is, a member of the bowfin family. Cyclurus was a small member of the family, but it likely still retained the same fundamental atributes of amiids, like its predatory nature and perfect adaptability to survive in murky under oxygenated freshwater courses.
