Gilmoremys was an extinct genus of softshell turtles, native from the Hell Creek Formation and Lance Formation. This turtle is notorious for its fossil remains, showing juvenile and adult fossils, tracing an ontogenetic variety. It is closely related to modern Asian and African softshell turtles.
