Marmarthia was an extinct genus of laurel trees and shrubs, known to have existed in the Hell Creek formation. Two species are recognized from the formation: Marmarthia pearsonii and Marmarthia trivialis. They are mostly distinguished by their leaf shapes, with M.pearsonii having simple tapered points, while M.trivialis had more rounded and toothed leaves. They seem to have been a valuable food source for Triceratops and Denversaurus.
